TIMELESS WINGS AND WHEELS UPCOMING EVENTS

**On the third Saturday every month there will be an Old Soldiers meeting from 10:00 a.m. ‘til 12:00 p.m. We’ll provide the coffee and snacks you provide the great stories. Come meet and get to know local veterans.

June 21 -- 6:00 p.m. Member Night. Come out to the hangar and enjoy a cook-out of hamburgers and hotdogs. This is open to members only, but please if you have someone who is thinking of joining the museum bring them out to meet us. Please bring a covered side dish or desert and we’ll provide the main course and a drink.

After dinner we’ll be showing the movie "The Rocketeer" outside on the hangar doors. Bring your favorite chair and join us for movie night.

July 19 -- 7:30 a.m. ’til 10:00 a.m. Fly-In Breakfast. Fly-In or Drive-In for our pancake breakfast. Come meet Lyle Wheeler, author of "Cubs on the Loose". A great book about a cub’s journey across the country. Lyle Wheeler will also share some of his other flying adventures with us. He has over 50,000 flying experience.

The price for the breakfast is $2.50 for members and people who fly in and $5.00 for non-members and people who arrive by car.

September 20 -- 10:00 a.m. ’til 3:00 p.m. "Bugs In The Hangar". Our first annual Volkswagen and Porsche show. All VW’s and Porshe’s are welcome. You can find a registration form online. There will be great food and prizes.

November 1 -- 5:00 p.m. ‘til 8:00 p.m. "Knights Of The Air" WWI spaghetti dinner night. We’re lining up some great speakers for this event. There will be more details on this in the coming weeks. We’ll also be having a live auction. We’ll be auctioning off a one of a kind piece of artwork by Bill Strawn.

November 15 -- 10:00 a.m. ’til 4:00 p.m. "Open Hangar Day". The bombers are back! Come in and get a good look at the Collings Foundation WWII bombers and get an up close look at what the mechanics at American Aero are restoring.

December 6 -- 2 p.m. ’til 6 p.m. "Pearl Harbor Luau" In honor of Pearl Harbor we’ll be having a luau with a pig roast. Tickets will go on sale soon. Remember this event may sell out beforehand so be sure to get your tickets as soon as they go on sale.

December 20 -- 10:00 a.m. ‘til 4:00 p.m. Open Hangar Day. Just another opportunity to see the Collings Foundation WWII bombers and the work the mechanics are doing at American Aero Services.

January TBA -- 5:00 p.m. ‘til 8:00 p.m. "A Night With the Army Air Corp". Come enjoy a great dinner and hear different veterans speak on their roles in the Army Air Corp. We’ll also be having a live auction. We will be auctioning off a one of a kind piece of artwork by Bill Strawn.
